I truly do miss random sports cards. There’s no room for them anymore with all the products being pumped out by the major companies such as Topps, Upper Deck and Panini, but a guy can always wish right?
Anyone else eat Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits just because they put baseball cards into their box? Those little breakfast sandwiches were actually pretty good and I still eat Jimmy Dean products. I’d say it was a successful campaign.
The card featured here was from a Hostess box, and what a great player! Ken Griffey Jr. is definitely a legend. Also featured in that set were Roger Clemens and Cal Ripken Jr. What’s better than getting a box of cupcakes with free sports cards? Not much.
